Featuring the APSB’s “Gypsy Cob Of The Year 2011” Jango Dancer of Brackenhill and Royal Melbourne Horse Show 2011 “Champion Gypsy Cob Mare” Aeryn Sun, Southern Gypsies produces show winning purebred and partbred gypsy cobs and horses. Our horses and stud progeny have won at APSB stud shows in Victoria and WA, taken 1st and 2nd places at the Melbourne Royal, plus numerous other Grand Champion, Reserve Champion, and Champion placings at various breed and agricultural shows across Australia ... Our stallion Jango Dancer is from the world famous Frainy Line of cobs and was the fourth stallion to be imported to Australia, and one of the first eight horses here. The gorgeous Aeryn Sun, our first imported mare, came from Vines via Appleby Fair in the UK. Purebred foals available from the stud in 2012. Some purebred adult gypsy cobs and show quality partbreds currently available. Southern Gypsies strives to be at the forefront of breeding in Australia taking part in cutting edge colour gene research and producing a number of “firsts” including breeding the first appaloosa marked Gypsy Sport Horse in Australia. Ask us about purchasing your very own Gypsy Cob in Australia or importing from the UK.
