Versatile 5 Yr Old Black Pony Gelding!

for more information and pictures . “Ollie is a cute, cute, cute 5 year old black pony with blue eyes. He stands 11.3-12 hands and is sound in every way. Dubbed “the cutest thing I’ve ever seen” at every show he’s been to, he will catch the judge’s eye every time. He has been brought along slowly from age three by small adult riders, but we put a little kid on him regularly. We have been super careful not to overwork him in his training; we’ve chosen to bring him up, teach him something, maybe go to a local show and then turn him back out for some months. He’s been in professional training for the hunter ring and he never refused a jump. He’s also comfortable in the english and western dressage arenas and he’s done a little bit of cross country jumping and trail riding. Plus, he was broke to drive by a professional trainer and has driven cross country! He would excel with a young person who’s got a little bit of experience, but he’s also cantered the grandchildren(age 5)around on the lunge line. He’s been back in training for the grandchildren for the last three months and now he’s sadly offered for sale because Daddy is still in school and Mommy is expecting their third baby! We can’t fault Ollie in any way except that he does not get treats from the hand (or he won’t leave you alone), and he needs reasonable fly control in his stable to control biting flies. He loads, clips and stands for the farrier. His dental care and vaccinations are up to date.
