William 11yo 16hh Stock Horse x Tb Gelding
William is an 11-year-old, 16hh Stock Horse x Thoroughbred gelding, homebred from a quality polo breeding line. Sadly he is a bit wasted in his current home as work commitments and a young family mean we simply dont have the time to ride him as much as he deserves.William was broken in as a young horse and lightly stick and balled, however he has never played a polo tournament. He is slightly too tall for the sport. Earlier in his life, he was mainly used for trail riding and casual farm work, where he proved to be a sensible, balanced and enjoyable ride.Due to house moves and family/work commitments he has been out of work for approximately 5 years. He was brought back into work about a month ago with the view to selling him and is riding well, improving each ride as his fitness comes back. With a consistent rider he should continue to progress nicely.William would suit someone looking for an allrounder, farm horse, or a straightforward project to bring back into full work.
