Harry is a stunning, big, solid warmblood with exceptional movement and presence. I have owned him for the past year, and he has been an absolute pleasure to develop. He offers three expressive, balanced paces and naturally powerful movement that would lend itself beautifully to dressage; however, his true passion is jumping. He is bold, careful, and shows excellent scope with the ability to progress through the levels. Harry thrives with patience, consistency, and a rider who can offer a structured training environment. For this reason, he would be best suited to a competitive or performance-focused home where he can continue to shine. On the flat, he has been schooling novice-level movements with ease. Over fences, he is confidently jumping around the 1m+ height at home and has been schooling cross-country around 95cm–1* with impressive potential to develop further. He can be pretty lazy to your leg when he wants to be so he needs a rider that is willing to be patient and consistent with him to get the best work out of him. The more consistent you are with him the more he improves. He genuinely has the sweetest temperament—essentially a big puppy dog. He is the best horse I’ve owned, which is why this has been such a difficult and on-and-off decision. Ultimately, I want what is best for him, and that means finding a rider who can continue his education and give him the opportunities he deserves. Harry has attended numerous off-property clinics, lessons, and outings. Although he has not competed frequently due to my lack of time, the longer he remains available, the more exposure and training he will continue to receive, which will be reflected in his price. He is exceptionally easy to handle—great to float, shoe, catch, worm, and generally one of the most laid-back, good-natured horses I’ve come across. Price on application.
