Beautiful Bay Mare

“Belle” is a beautiful 8 year-old bay of the track thoroughbred mare that is approx. 15.3hh. She retired sound from racing as a 4 year-old and has been in and out of work ever since due to restricted time, I’m at university and I have other horses, which in why she is up for sale. She requires an experienced confident but gentle female rider as she can be fresh when bringing into work and doesn’t work well under male riders. She is best suited to a competition home where she will be in consistent work. I have been schooling Belle over jumps and she is proving to be a lovely jumper with nice scope. She would make a great dressage or eventing horse. She has a small scar on one hind due to paddock accident but has no ongoing issues from it. She has been known to windsuck in the past but with good diet and adequate roughage she doesn’t. She is a good doer and keeps weight. She is not for beginners and is NOT a confidence builder.
