Gelding needing exposure

ID: 4170

$3,000.00

  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:15h 2"
  • Age:10

10yo geldingStock horse x ? Maybe Arab 15.2hhPretty caramel bayHealthy, fat paddock condition.Good feet, good teeth, solid, easy keeper. Ted has very nice paces, naturally soft, timid nature, out of work, has done arena work, trails, obstacles with previous owner. Ted is not a bold horse. He needs a true partner to build his confidence and show him the world long term and hell thrive. Not nasty, just not ans exposed as I was led to believe and my circumstances didnt allow for more. Hes needing to be partnered with an active, confident, kind owner who wants to spend the time with him and develop a giving young boy. Everything is there, when I got him he lunged, rode well but he wasnt the bike ready made boy I needed. Hes been left too long and deserves more. Pretty boy, so much potential, wants to please. No fault of his own, not nasty at all. He just hesitates and has very small mini-shies on the ground and I cant be pushing him on in the saddle due to health issues. An absolute gem in the right hands. Id love to see him go to experienced, confident hands to being out the best in him. Not for kids, inexperienced, time poor owners. He deserves a true partner, very much a one on one horse. Healthy and willing.Hes paddock dominant at feed time, nothing nasty, just spread feeds out or separate. Think of him as having a younger brain but with everything done. Hes a gem on the ground to trim, tie, tack etc No time wasters - please read ad, be ready, be willing to put in the time. On-sellers look elsewhere, I wont let him go to just anyone and hes a slow burn so not worth your time for that. Hes too sweet a boy to be left in a paddock.

Quality Youngsters

$9,900.00Negotiable

  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:16h "
  • Age:3

Due to limited time and too many horses we have decided to advertise the Deltry Lodge youngsters. These prices do not reflect the quality of the horses but time is getting away from us and we do not want to waste such beautiful horses in the paddocks. Our loss is an amazing opportunity for someone who may not normally have the budget for such impressive breeding. All are in paddock condition and will be sold as such. Alex is a Brown gelding by Deltry Lodge Harley (Sired by Dusky Hunter, a showjumping thoroughbred), out of Deltry Lodge Capri (Dam sired by Richmeed Medallion famously the sire of Mystery Whisper who represented America with Phillip Dutton at the London Olympics). Unbroken, has been backed and lunged, well handled 3 year old. Asking $9,900Gabriel: Black mare by Buckwell Park Destiny GS, out of Deltry Lodge Gypsy (Gypsy is by Regarded Moi, Grand Prix Dressage horse and out of a mare by Hamlet, Hamlet being the sire of Hunter Valley ll ridden by Sammi Birch as the travelling reserve for the Rio 2016 Olympics, 4th Pau 5* 2017, 10th Aachen 2016.). Unbroken, 3 year old. Gabriel has some scaring on her hind legs. She is sound ready to break in, otherwise she would be an excellent choice as a broodmare to breed eventing/performance horses. Asking $4000Rambo: Black, gelding, 8 years old. By Deltry Lodge Harley out of Deltry Lodge Crystal (Dam sired by Jazzabout). Jazzabout was a Dressage Grand Prix stallion known for impressive movement and strong performance in competitions. PRICE DROP - Glenara Philadelphia

ID: 4180

$30,000.00

  • Discipline:Showjumping
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:15h 3"
  • Age:6

Regretfully up for sale - Glenara Philadelphia is a 15.3hh 2019 mare by Glenara Rockefeller, out of 1.60 mare Yandoo Pennsylvania.Fifi has competed up to 90cm. Shes been slow to mature so I have taken my time with her, stepping her up and then back down again to keep her confident. She can be hot, shes got a lot of blood and all the jump in the world - she just needs a bit more time to put the pieces together.Perfect to clip, shoe, float, truck, stable etc. Never had a single injury. Can just jump on and go, not a mean bone in her body.Increased work commitments and needing to reduce my horse workload means I need to make some hard decisions and I feel I dont have the time to give this mare justice.Ill be very picky where she ends up, the ideal home is a quiet, patient and understanding rider who can put the time into her without rushing her. Shell be very rewarding once the hard yards are done. She has been in full work up until October, had a short spell and is coming back into light work. With her bloodlines, shed make some amazing babies. If she doesnt find the right home I would love to be putting her in foal for the time being!Lots of video on my Instagram - @allywake.sj and under the hashtag #glenaraphiladelphia
