Looking for an awesome dressage prospect with loads of common sense and a great foundation? Nicky could be your man! He has been on our farm for a year now, and we have enjoyed every minute. Nicky's riding training has been mostly Dressage focused, and he has a great walk-trot-canter, he knows his leads, and is learning leg-yields and shoulder-in. He will jog around nice and slow, but push him, and you'll find a big stretchy trot with lots of extention. He has the best rocking horse canter around, and he'll walk to canter on either lead. He listens to seat, leg,and voice aids, and he's got great brakes. Nicky has also been ridden western quite a bit, and he's been all over the trails at Saltfork State Park. He's been on overnight camping trips, and stood well tied at the highline. Trailering is no problem, he is easy to load and hauls well. He stands in cross ties, and is a total kitten to handle on the ground. Nicky also has lots of driving training in the two wheeled cart and the carriage. He's been on the road and through town. Other horses, ponies, barking dogs, and cattle do not bother him at all.

16.1hh 8yr Teddy was broken in at 4.5. Solid 6 months under saddle then owner lost her heart horse and Teddy was put out for winter and not continued with. Prior to breaking had extensive ground work, poles tarps flags ect. Has been out to events ridden around but not competed. Great to float, catch farrier ect. $7000 Reg qh gelding champion reining cow horse bloodlines and western pleasure bloodlines last foal from studbook mare. 15.3 h beautiful temperament has currently been out of work for a couple of years and when left before without riding for a long period of time have brought in and taken straight out on a trail ride with no problems other than being a bit spooky and fresh no buck rear or bolt has never done any of those things not even when breaking him in which was professionally done by myself. When broken in he was taught all the basics on the ground liberty style and all the basics under saddle western style. Can crack a whip off him, open gates and rope solid objects. He has a good foundation to start any discipline you would like to put him to. He has a in your face type temperament and loves spending time with you has no nastys and is good to shoe catch float wash ect when in work he is quite enough for kids and beginners and it doesn't take much to bring him back into work as he's been left for long periods of time before just not this long which os sadly due to unforeseen circumstances I have not have the time for him and sadly it has now brought me to having to now sell.
