Please read thorougly My boy River is a 15yo TB. He retired as he was too slow. He has had a fair few owners before me. I brought him in to my life after paying a lot for his and wanting him to be somewhere happier than his previous home. I have spent thousands on him for vet treatment and we have since been each other's companions for light riding and horse therapy. I will happily talk about his previous treatment and provide his history. I have had horses my whole life so I would really appreciate if he could be sold to an experienced horsey home where he will be safe and well looked after. I have decided that I have had to make a heart breaking decision to find him his new forever (I mean forever) home where he can eventually enjoy his retirement. Also happy to discuss my decision privately. He has been well educated with dressage and jumping however I have never pushed him and certainly do not want him pushed as he is heading towards retirement. He is currently ridden on roads and trails. River's only two vices are that he can kick when you're cleaning his back feet (fine with my farrier), girthy when saddling and piggy at food time (due to neglect.) He is up to date with everything else. Is barefoot but needs to be shod if you want to ride on hard and very rocky surfaces. Traffic, animals etc doesn't bother him. More whoah than go. My special needs daughter learnt to ride on him. Due to the nature of my decision, he is $1000 ono and to the very best homes. Upfront payment will be required and you're welcome to trial him as long as you have a safe and stable home set up. GabbyBay TB mare for sale. 15.1hh 12yrs old. Easy to wash, lunge, float, shoe and ridden in snaffle bit. Has attended pony club, riding lessons and jump training day. Was jumping 80cm at Ag shows when competing at previous home-potential to go higher. War hope For sale 7yr old gelding 16.3 OTT Retired sound in February 2024 Since his retirement he has been ridden by a 15 year old and has shown huge potential as a dressage, show or jumping horse. He has attended fortnightly lessons with ea level 2 eventing coach, Pony club, jump club days and ag show. Clyde has established balance in his flat work and has good scope in his jumping. He has had exposure to tractors, trucks, mowers, motorbike, indoor arena and loud speakers since we have owned him all with no problem. At home he is great to do anything with but when he is out can get nervous and is to strong for his young rider to handle on the ground saying that after a loung he settles and she is able to ride him. Easy to catch, shoe, float Boof is a kind hearted fellow, great to do everything with, a true all rounder with no dirt. A lovely comfortable ride and best suited to a confident rider to bring the best out of him, however we have had beginners on him and didnt put a foot wrong. Can pull him out the paddock after time off and he picks up straight where you left but would recommend keeping him in full work to reach his full potential. He will make a great partner for someone wanting a horse to do a bit of everything with! He is working at a basic prelim level with a soft snaffle mouth. Happy to go for a trail, work in the arena, or go around a jump course in which he is currently schooling 80cm with much more potential.
