He is an educated, intelligent horse with plenty of buttons who genuinely enjoys having a job to do. Forward moving with a soft contact, making him a very enjoyable ride.He has experience across a wide range of disciplines and outings, including flatwork, team penning, campdrafting, gymkhana-style events, beach rides, trail and road riding, and ponying young horses. Cracking a whip off him. Great to ride independently or in a group. He is responsive under saddle and best suited to a confident rider with an independent seat and hands who will appreciate his sensitivity and keep him mentally engaged. When in consistent work, he offers a fantastic stop, collects well, and stays soft and balanced. He has good rollbacks, beautiful one-handed control, listens well to leg aids, and is educated in leg yield, side pass, walk-to-canter transitions, and reverse arc. He had also just started on spins prior to time off due to rider injury. Overall, he is a very well-educated gelding with a solid foundation. He is not the type to give his heart away instantly, but for the right person who takes the time to build a partnership, he will be incredibly rewarding and try his hardest. He would suit someone looking for a fun, capable horse to enjoy across multiple disciplines rather than a beginner ride.Currently shod all round and ready to go. Sweet, Athletic Mare

ID: 5581

$17,500.00

  • Discipline:Dressage
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:16h 1"
  • Age:12

I am sadly offering my lovely mare for sale due to increasing uni commitments studying Vet.Vivid Dream, affectionately known as Vie is a registered 12 year old 16.1hh Warmblood x Thoroughbred, coming from Copabella Visage bloodlines.Since purchasing her in 2023 she has done Pony Club rally days, camps (including SJ, dressage, team penning, XC, cattle work, sporting), local AG shows, clinics, jump days, inter-schools, and state competitions.Coming off a small property, she is used to dogs, quad bikes, tractors, sheep and cattle. She is a forward-moving horse who is exceptionally trainable, responsive to the aids and thrives on constant work and having a job to do. I believe she is full of potential, being so willing to learn.Vie has competed up to 1m showjumping and is training higher at home. She has begun eventing, and won her first competition, in the 60cm ODE, without any faults. While she has completed eventing clinics and some local jump club training days, unfortunately, I have not had the time to take her to other eventing starts.Vie shows much talent for dressage with three expressive gaits. She has competed in many preliminary and novice dressage events, winning Champion in the Novice Zone PC dressage. She has established leg yields, an exceptional free walk in which she really tracks up her hind end, counter canter, lengthen trot and canter and the basics of walk to canters and should ins. Had I had more time, she would have made the move to competing at elementary level. While she is the sweetest horse who is very affectionate, her athleticism and talent require a competent, confident rider with soft hands to guide her.Located in Wagga WaggaPlenty of videos available on request

Name: Whitney - Stock Horse x Quarter HorseDob: 7/10/2017 (8 y/o)Sire: Cadiums Scoundrel SM-156832 (Stock Horse) (dec)Dam: Hootchy Kootchy Mamma AX-571 (Quarter Horse)Height: 14.3 handsPrice: $8000Location: Port Macquarie, NSWCan be registered. First cross stock horse. I have the signed breeding certificate but have not had the need to registered her.Whitney has been with us for 2 years. She has been ridden and handled mainly by my daughter who is now 12. My daughter is an independent rider and has been having regular lessons and riding for around 4 years. Whitney occasionally has her moments but she has been a great 2nd horse for my daughter.Whitney is good to catch, trim, float, rug etc. She is ridden 1-2 times a week and more in the school holidays. Whitney is working toward collecting more consistently during flat work. Occasionally she will do a small pigroot in canter. Whitney is a great doer and holds her weight. She has a scar on her back right leg which healed well and does not affect her. With her previous owner, she was kept on her with no other horses. With us she has lived in with our other horse. She is fine to load on the float by herself and take her for an outing. If she is walked or ridden away for her paddock mate she can become worried. No itch. Good feet, is always bare foot and is trimmed regularly. My daughter is moving onto a bigger horse, so we are looking to find Whitney a new home.In the time we have had her she has done:lots of trailsregular lessonslots of flat workhorse camp daysobstaclesa little bit of jumping (small jumps)some gymkhana daysVideos available
