Interschool Competition Ready

  • Gender:Horse

Expressions of Interest Eve Looking for a competitive interschool rider ready for the ring! A rare opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind mare. Eve is a 15hh, rising 13-year-old (31/10/2012) palomino Paint mare who has been my heart horse for 8 wonderful years. With my focus now shifting to my younger mount, I'm open to expressions of interest for the perfect home. About Eve: Schooled to 1.10m at home, free-jumped to 1.20m Competed to 90cm SJ (placings) and 95 Eventing Great in Cross country Solid dressage foundation under the tutelage of Grand Prix rider Sue Paix Currently training Elementary and some Medium movements at home Been out on trails, beach rides, liberty, ponied other horses and done bridleless work Sensitive, intelligent, and trainable Excellent on the lunge, balanced with full voice command Thrives with a calm, confident rider who uses soft hands, ridden from the leg with clear communication Handy and fun does little piaffe steps and bows! Easy to lead, float, shoe, tie, stable, brush, bridle and saddle. Eve is ideal for a capable young rider or small adult looking for a versatile, competitive mount in showjumping, eventing, or working equitation. She would even convert easily to western dressage as she has an excellent seat stop. Eve can occasionally be a little nervous in new environments, but interestingly, shes found the hustle and bustle of competition somewhat soothing and we have our little routine to help. She is not suited to beginners, but a joy to handle on the ground even by non-horsey family and can double as a lead-line mount with the right supervision. Also with her emotional sensitivity she would be great for equine therapy-style work. South Brisbane | POA | 5-star home onlyNot a rushed sale. The right match is essential.
