Trail rides with lots of miles under his belt, hauls beautifully, great for the farrier, bathes, crosses water, mud, terrain, obstacles, drags tarps, helps me start the youngsters on their first rides. Beautiful black gelding with a perfect Appaloosa blanket. He goes western, English, and has begun low level dressage. Ridge Park Highgrove Prince AKA Charlie Brown 12yo gelding Registrations: EA, SHC, eligible Welsh Pony, Arabian Derivative Located SE QLD It is with great sadness that we have accepted our daughters legs are too long for our beautiful Charlie Brown and its time to find his next rider. Over the past 5 years, Charlie has taken our confident beginner to an established and accomplished rider. Charlie has been a superstar pony club mount and has excelled in the show ring but where Charlie really shines is in the dressage arena, with his exceptional movement. With his breeding, he looks and moves like a mini warmblood. We have jumped Charlie to 80cm and he has potential to go higher than this. Because of the wet weather, selling our property and our daughter growing too tall, Charlie has had limited outings over the past 2 years. Despite this and with no preparation, we took him to the SE QLD Interschool dressage championships in May 2025 and he easily placed 6th out of over 30 riders. He has the potential to go all the way in Pony Dressage for an ambitious rider/family. Charlie is a spirited pony who can throw the occasional pigroot, so he needs a confident rider who has a balanced seat. Charlie is an easy keeper and has never had any health or soundness issues. Although our daughter was a confident beginner rider when we got Charlie, she had a lot of experience riding our farm horses. We will not sell Charlie to a beginner due to his forward nature. Chestnut 5yo gelding, EA Registered.Teddy is a little pocket rocket. Finished racing in April 2024. He has been with me for 12 months, and is currently training novice with some elementary. Has established leg yields, shoulder fore, shoulder in, counter canter and has started travers and flying changes.He has 3 lovely balanced paces, and offers a very comfortable ride. Has attended many dressage training clinics, and has had one outing for a ride around out the back, but has not competed, so he sill eligible for all newcomers.Great to float, shoe, wash, clip, rug, worm, lunge etc.He is still young, and although is quiet, he still is green (competition wise), and will need a kind, calm and caring rider to give him confidence to continue on with.I do think he would make an amazing allrounder, and in time will be an amazing juniors horse. Talented, super scopey and brave. He was 2nd in the 1.25m open at SJA and has a number of results to his name. He did the dressage at equimillions last year and was 4th in the preliminary.
