Tessa the painted pony is our teenage children’s pony. We have had her for the past four years, of which she has been a great girl to learn on. Currently all our children have moved on from Tessa and are onto other horses, and are all away at boarding school and college. Thus, Tessa is eagerly awaiting her new companion. Tessa is a nice beginner’s pony, she is a mare and stubborn but that is waylaid with her bombproof nature. She has no bite, kick, buck, bolt. Tessa loves trail riding and enjoys bending, with encouragement she gets into the barrels. She is a plodder. My teens have loved riding her bareback. She is hard of the mouth so leg work is required for young riders. She likes children.

Super hard sale, but Split is just wasted potential in the paddock. Would make a super pony club pony or show jumper. Good to trim, lead, self loads he can be tricky to shoe. He has been to challenges, freshmans, done feedlot work; been to town a lot, taken through maccas and the railway-lands. Would like to keep him around South Australia and Mt Gambier if possible.
