Remington has been trained the right way and it shows. He is supple, and moves through his body very correctly. He is responsive to your seat and forward when you ask him to be with 3 very high quality gaits. Remington has the walk that the dressage community craves- his walk is a 10! Remington’s elastic trot is as smooth as they come. He is easy to sit, even at the extended trot. His canter is very upright and we think he can get the flying changes very easily. This boy is a real DREAM BOAT to ride! Remington is currently trained and shown in the M2 (2nd) level. Remington is the perfect horse for an amateur wanting to work their way up the levels in the dressage arena. He is not the spooky type and can be taken on the trails or to a competition. Remington has extensive show experience. Remington has incredible suspension and elasticity. He has lots of animation in his trot with the suspension necessary for an upper level dressage horse. He also has a wonderful canter. His tremendous willingness coupled with high trainability gives Remington a great future. Remington’s talent and beauty are not surprising. He is son the Approved Sport Stallion, Andries 415 Sport. Andries is a HIGH achiever. He has been awarded sport in both dressage AND harness. We know where Remington gets his performance side from! Andries is known for the hair gene, long legs, and beautiful neck; all of which Remington has. His mother is a daughter of the legendary FEI dressage stallion, Beart 411 SPORT PREF. He is out of a KROON, SPORT mare, with a full papered motherline. Remington has top of the line pedigree from all angles. He is a gentle giant standing at 16.3 hands. Groovy TB gelding This boy is a gentle sole and absolute sweetheart. Such a kind hearted boy. He has no nasties No rear Buck Bolt Bite or kick He does have a slightly swayed back which he was born with, although did not affect his race career or his a ability to be currently ridden Groovy has been used for trail riding only and prefers the laid back slow life, although can get up and go if you want him too. Has carried and is great green beginner riders, kids toddlers, everyone! Great lead horse for the youngsters also. Will let the kids climb all over him and doesn't put a foot wrong. Great to catch rug, will float well once loaded Although can take time to load to float. Currently unshod On seven week rotation with farrier- stands great Dental completed december- also has no issues with his dental visits. He has not been ridden for approx 6mths since my injury. I am also moving overseas and cannot take him with me. But is the type you can leave, get on and go. Very reluctant sale but needs someone who is going to give him the work and riding he deserves to build him back out and maybe introduce him to more disciplines.
