Welsh mare...Tooravale Idaho/ Tooravale Gypsy. Grace is an amazing pony for the child who is ready to progress from their first pony. This beautiful little mare is aptly named... She's as kind and gentle as they come, and is seeking a like minded rider! Grace has done it all. She has participated in grade 5 and 6 Pony Club clinics and lessons. She's safely and calmly carried her young rider on trail and beach rides. Grace has competed successfully in dressage and show jumping and can work sweetly at shows. She is trustworthy when ridden alone and in groups. Grace is NOT a kick-a-long beginners pony and will not be happy with an unsteady beginner rider, yet is not too forward for a competent under 10yo. Grace has been sadly outgrown and is only available to another kind and knowledgeable home. She has no known health issues or veterinary history. Contact. Ive owned Lars since 2019. I bought him directly off the track at age 9 (he wasnt racing competitively at this point, but because of his quiet and genuine nature they held onto him to train amateur jockeys).He still has some quirks from his racing days which Ill start with:He is not smart around fences (hes got scars on his back legs to show for it and for this reason lives in paddock boots 24/7).He can still be horse-shy at times. Particularly in the warmup ring. Hell need someone with confidence to ride him out of it when it does arise. The good news is that it is actually easy to do once you build a relationship with him and know the trick. His horse shyness is genuine rather than any dirt on his part. He doesnt buck, bolt or rear.As with all ottbs, hell need his feet done regularly (Ive always had him in shoes) and a joint supplement (Ive always had him on 4cyte). Hes never had issues with either but should be maintained for his longevity.Now thats out of the way, Lars is the most genuine and honest horse Ive ridden. In typical bay gelding fashion he tries his heart out to do whatever you ask of him. He is a lovely type with a beautiful, comfortable rhythm and trusting nature.Lars has competed and placed in countless horse trials (80cm, training 95cm), show jumping (up to 90cm) and dressage (novice) competitions over the years Ive owned him. Hes particularly bold and adjustable on cross country which is his real strength. He still needs some confidence show jumping which he gets from his rider, and he produces a lovely, consistent dressage test. That being said he is not currently in work and is priced as such.Even now when hes not been in consistent work hes been a dream to hop on and go for a trail ride, do some flat work or pop down the cross country course for a jump. "Jazz" is a 15 year old liver chestnut warmblood broodmare who has produced 2 stunning foals . She was retired from dressage training in 2020 ( completely sound ) and she had her last foal in 2023 . She is currently in paddock condition .Jazz has been educated to Grand Prix in dressage ( doing piaffe and passage ) , she has lovely movement and she is fantastic to handle . She was retired due to family circumstances so I started breeding from her and she is now for sale due to the sale of a property and time restrictions . Jazz was retired completely sound and she could be put back into work if desired or she could be bred from immediately . I am happy to share videos of Jazz under saddle with interested parties .Jazz is out of "GB Sunset Charisma" who was an Australian Grand Champion under saddle , a Sydney Royal winner ( for both dressage and hacking ) , a Crane Trophy winner and a member of the NSW Dressage Squad . "GB Sunset Charisma" was an absolute superstar with stunning movement , a trainable temperament and a "look at me" presence .Jazz's sire is "Jive Magic" who needs no introduction to dressage enthusiasts . He was Rozzie Ryan's special partner and they very successfully competed to Grand Prix in dressage . Beautiful natured, loves people, gentle and kind. Looking for his next roll as a paddock and person mate. Absolutely loves being fussed over the kind of horse you can walk underneath without a worry.Was a successful junior riding pony showing his young riders the ropes. Unfortunately he is not a riding pony anymore as he has shown us signs of struggling carrying weight.Happy in a paddock with shelter. Preference he goes to somewhere with a horse friend for him for his own mental health, although he is unfazed when alone in the paddock for periods.Very easy keeper. Up to date with vaccines and teeth. Excellent to load and for farrier and vet. Has front shoes on at the moment as has been doing some very light ridden work with a very lightweight rider, these can come off.Would suit someone either needing an easy keeper paddock mate for their competition horse or as a beloved pet for someone that just wants to spend time and be around a beautiful horse sole.
