Tricky is a 14.2hh, 16 year old new Forest Pony X Thoroughbred. Bred, trained and competed by Kapeta Equestrian.Leased by a junior rider for past 2.5 years.Tricky has competed in both Eventing and Showjumping up to 1* and 1.05m. He is scopey and talented and rewards good riding and confidence. I believe he is most happy at EA95.Dressage: Three flashy and correct paces on the flat and very capable, however he is a mixed bag of results in the arena, depending on the vibe of the day. He likes soft, settled hands and clear aids and to be ridden forward.Showjumping: Quick, adjustable and nippy. He can take a great line to a fence and is a weapon in a jump off. You navigate, he will do the rest. He was Reserve Champion D grade at PCAV State Championships in 2024, against over 40 combinations.Cross Country: Easily his favourite phase. Knows his job and needs the rider to set the path. Scopey to a fence and a technical line. Leg on, hands steady.Tricky is as quirky as he is talented and gains and utilises the confidence that his rider gives him. He is point and shoot if you mean it, but unforgiving of bad riding and short tempers. Monty is a beautiful gelding with so much to give!He's Competed up to 90cm sj could go higher but he is most comfortable around that. He is competing prelim/novice, training elementary/medium. He is an easy ride XC he knows what to do.Monty is good around cars, motorbikes, tractors dogs and for the the farrier. He's happy going on trails alone or with company he isn't at all spooky. Although he is 100% sounds (competed last in May 2025) and able to fully compete he does not enjoy it and becomes too anxious, so I will not sell him to a competition home. 2. Eric is a 16 yo grey gelding. He stands 16.3hh and is a very handsome and lovely Horse. He has some light jumping and pole training experience. He is good to teach and happy in work. He does not buck, shy, kick or bite. A background in Racing can get him excited at new places but generally he settles down very quickly. He would need an owner who can ride. He is up to date with farrier, teeth, worming etc. He was leased to a girl out west of NSW until recently. The girl wrote this about him: He has been a fantastic boy over the 3 years Ive had him in my care. Gets along great with all horses. Was paddocked with 2 mares. When in work, Eric is a great horse to ride, in the paddock or round yard. He collects himself well. He has 3 nice paces, a lovely forward canter.
