TB gelding never raced

ID: 4443

$800.00

  • Breed:Thoroughbred
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:15h 3"
  • Age:6

15.3hh 6yo unraced TB gelding Magnus x Lilys reward (Reward for effort) Opie is not a typical TB, he is chunky and a good doer. He is a very chill boy, not hot or fizzy at all and is more woah than go. On the ground, Opie is easy to handle. Hes good for the farrier, can be hosed off and floats like a dream every time. Under saddle, he is still green but quiet and shows no nasties. He is happy to plod along, isnt spooky but hasnt had much exposure outside of the arena/farm riding. Will stand for mounting and can canter on both leads. Opie has fresh front shoes and teeth done, and has had a precautionary round of ulcer treatment. He has had no injuries but did have a freak paddock accident recently resulting in superficial cuts. These have healed nicely but will have some minor scarring. Happy to discuss in detail. Opie is a windsucker, doesnt affect weight at all. Can be controlled by hot paste, electric fencing or collar. Opie is out of work since the accident, however Ive been lightly working him for 2 weeks. He will need groundwork to build up muscle and strength before going under saddle again. Hes a pull out of paddock and go type when in work. Located Iona (Longwarry/Bunyip) Home is most important. Please no beginners. Wanting to find a long term home for this boy, hes lovely and would thrive with consistency.

APSL Lusitano Mare - Green Broken & Proven Broodmare

ID: 4737

$25,000.00Negotiable

  • Discipline:Breeding
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:16h 3"
  • Age:6

“Lusanda Park Papillon” APSL approved mare with a score of 73.25. Poppy is 6 years old, chestnut (no grey) and is approx 16.3 hands tall. She is a more “modern” type and we have attached a photo of her pedigree and revision score. Poppy was lightly green broken to saddle in 2024 and then had two successful embryo transfers (both worked first try) and carried her own foal born in November 2025. Poppy is currently empty and will be available late March/early April when her foal is weaned. She will be ready to either continue her training under saddle or can be a broodmare for either ET’s or carry her own foal. We used Orfeo HH for her two ET’s and put her in foal with frozen semen to Ice Cream RS. Due to us retaining two of her 3 foals, we have decided to offer her to a breeding or dressage home. She is a very intelligent mare and is strong minded, and we feel she needs a more experienced home than us. Manolo Mendez did some work with her at our property which we can provide some footage of. We can also give references from the repro vet who did her ET’s, and from the trainer who very lightly started her under saddle before the ET’s. Transport can also be included if the home is on the East Coast of Australia. We are only asking her purchase price, which is extremely reasonable for an APSL mare who is green broken and also a proven broodmare for embryo transfers.

Chic Chanell - Talented Young Warmblood

ID: 5046

$0.00

  • Discipline:Showjumping
  • Breed:Warmblood
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:16h 2"
  • Age:6

Chic Chanell is a talented young Warmblood mare with a solid foundation and exciting potential for the showjumping or dressage arenas. She has competed in showjumping up to 90cm at local agricultural shows, training days and championship events, and is confidently training around 100cm at home. Chanell displays a brilliant jump technique, using her shoulder well with plenty of spring, and is naturally careful and brave. She remains rideable, does not get strong, and is easy to adjust throughout a course. She is quick on her feet and can spin on a dime, making her excellent in jump-offs. On the flat, Chanell is straightforward and well educated, with a lovely soft mouth and a good understanding of lateral work. She has been produced thoughtfully and correctly, allowing her time to mature. Chanell is by Finch Farm Calgary, a Warmblood stallion competing at Mini Prix level, reinforcing her athletic, scopey jumping pedigree. Her dam is by ASB Conquistador, an Ambassador Belgian Warmblood stallion with an outstanding international jumping career, including World Cup and CSI4–CSI5 placings**, and a proven producer of elite showjumpers competing 1.40m and above internationally. As Chanell is still young, she can have the occasional challenging or ‘green’ moment; however, with consistent, confident riding she is a very genuine, willing, and talented horse. She also has a sassy, confident personality and knows she’s a beautiful mare, carrying herself with presence and flair both in the stable and under saddle. She requires a confident, capable rider to continue building her confidence as the heights increase. For this reason, she is not suited to a beginner, but would be ideal for an experienced rider seeking a quality young horse to bring on. Chanell is friendly and relaxed around other horses and is not herd-bound, remaining calm and settled even if neighbouring horses leave the stable. She will always come up to you in the paddock, is friendly with farm animals and motorb...
