215 7 Year Old Horses for Sale

Senorita AKA Allie 15.2hh Palomino Paint x ASH Mare DOB 27/10/2017 Allie loves trail rides, with or without other horses and is a perfect trail riding buddy who has happily trailed for hours. She would also be a good farm horse to use rounding up cattle etc. Allie is forward moving and has tight turns so she might be great for a jumping or eventing home. She has great brakes and will stop on a dime when you sit heavy and she doesn’t need convincing to change gaits when you ask. She has shown a promising start into show jumping, she doesn’t rush at jumps and has a steady canter. She is not bossy in the paddock and will happily meet you at the gate when called. Currently shod on the front and we recommend keeping them on as she can get foot tender. She is very easy to float in both straight & angle loads, stands quietly for the farrier and easy to wash. Allie had spine x-rays when we purchased her and she has perfect gaps between the vertebrae with absolutely no issues at all. Teeth done 27/05/2025 Hendra vax 12/03/2025 (due 12/03/2026) Allie is forward moving in the walk, trot and canter but nothing uncontrollable. She can become overwhelmed in the arena and will trot fast and be ready to “go”. Because of this, she is NOT suitable for a beginner, novice or intermediate rider. She is best suited to an experienced, knowledgeable home with a calm and soft rider as she is a sensitive mare. She responds well to leg aids and soft hands but reacts with a bossy heavy-handed rider. Sold as out of work and selling as she is not the right fit for my 15yo daughter’s riding abilities.

Pat is a 7 year old Welsh Cob x Gelding (unregistered) 13.3hh With his striking Flaxen Chestnut colouring and his solid "chunky" build, Pat is a beautiful horse. Pat does have itch, which can be managed. Pat is best suited to a confident rider, a teen or small adult. He has been ridden by our daughter, a novice rider, who has been riding him since age 12 but a confident rider will really see him shine. He has a lot of potential. Pat is a fast learner and always picks things up quickly. Everyone who meets Pat loves him, Pat going to a good and loving home is most important to us. He's easy to catch, he mostly comes to you. Ties up well, floats pretty well and is a good boy for the farrier. He currently has shoes on his front feet. Pat is happy on his own but is currently paddocked with another horse. This girl has it all, breeding and trainability! Promise had spent her early years showing followed by some years as a broodmare having produced some stunning quality foals.   I had purchased Promise earlier in the year with the hopes to trail ride with her however kids and a general busy life have made it hard to give her the time she needs. I had taken her out on trails and she had no issues with cattle, bikes, machinery - no spook. However as she’s been out of work for so long I’m selling her as unridden. It won’t take much at all to bring her back though. She’s unfit and unbalanced and would benefit from someone working with her from the ground up. Easy to float, shoe, clip, wash. No vices.

Heirloom Locket 7 year old buckskin part welsh mare 12hh Reg. SHC EA RP P/welsh Lucy is a quiet pony who has been completely handled and ridden by her now 10 year old rider. They have completed a show season together this year and attended agricultural shows, SHC shows breed shows and Interschool. Lucy has been successfully shown this year winning many reserve champions and also gaining 3rd overall at Interschool QLD state championships. Lucy is lead rein height and has done some leading rein with my youngest daughter. Whilst she is quiet enough for a first ridden pony she also has a lot to offer as a second pony. She has great movement and would also excel at dressage. Has done some jumping at home.

Suzie is an attractive, sociable Galloway with lots of character and strong presence. Over the past year, she has undergone two separate months of professional training. She moves gracefully, offers a smooth trot, responds well to a loose rein, and has good stop and turn. Suzie is returning to work following a break, yet she’s the sort of horse who you can jump straight back on after months without riding. She is confident and doesn’t spook easily. She will give anything a go providing it doesn’t require too much exertion. Suzie is more whoa than go but can be lazy. She will only be sold to an experienced home who can confidently push her when her laziness instigates stubbornness. She has been ridden in various environments, including national parks, open paddocks, beaches, arenas, and among kangaroos and livestock. Suzie’s impressive presence and easy-going temperament make her an excellent show horse or a reliable all-rounder with the right rider. Suzie was successfully shown, trained to harness, ridden on the beach, and started dressage training with her previous owner. She does not require a paddock companion and is currently with alpacas and sheep. Suzie may show mare-like behaviour with some geldings; this will be discussed openly. She has no known health issues, not shod, up to date with teeth, farrier and worming. Some of her gear may be sold with her for an additional cost. Suzie is a cherished member of our family. "Balmaurice" Aka Boris is 7yrs old and I've owned him since he's been off the track in August 2023. During this time Boris has had ample flatwork training, and has also competed up to EVA 65cm, showing to be super brave XC and shows beautiful talent SJ. Boris has exceptional movement and lovely soft mouth. Boris is currently in paddock condition and has been out spelling for the past 8 months, and will be sold in paddock condition and not in work. Boris has shown to be a little horse shy in the competition warm up and he can get hot at times under saddle. I've tried to work on these issues for quite some time, hence why he is now out in the paddock. I am more than happy to discuss these issues if your a seriously interested in him.
