Marindy Son of Floyd, AKA Junior, is a 7yo, 14hh, pure bred Gypsy Cob gelding, that has a bright future ahead. He has recently commenced his education under saddle and has excelled in every task we have asked of him. He displays that wonderful Gypsy Cob temperament and trainability. He is intelligent, safe, sensible, and kind. Like all green horses, Junior is best suited to a kind and knowledgeable rider, who understands the importance of building a correct foundation for future performance. He is a lovely, forward moving pony, who has a great work ethic and tries his hardest to please. He is still consolidating his flatwork and will benefit from continued exposure and outings. He is not suited to beginners or nervous riders as he is still learning and requires guidance and further education to become his best self. He will make a fantastic partner for someone wanting a versatile young horse for dressage, HRCAV and breed shows. He has been very easy to train and work with, and has had the benefits of a patient and kind start to his working life. He also enjoys activities such as trail rides and obstacles - creating flexibility, adventures and fun outside the arena. He is an excellent example of the breed, giving you the added opportunity to attend breed shows, compete in Gypsy Cob classes, etc. He has already been shown inhand at breed shows, has attended adult rider's rallies and has recently competed in his first HRCAV show under saddle. Junior is people orientated, full of personality, and comes running to the gate as soon as he sees you. He can be paddocked by himself or with others and has been brought up around busy farm life. He is comfortable with dogs, kids, motor bikes, etc. He is an absolute delight to have around and is only for sale due to owner’s ill-health.
