Standing at approx 16hh.Jeds main focus has been dressage but he has also been exposed to obstacles, which showed his ride-ability as went over everything with ease.He has also been trail riding, on the water walker, used as a saddle fitting display horse for farm world and unofficial Dressage Comps.He regularly attends ARC and lessons with a dressage coach.HighlightsGreat to catch, float, wash, tie up, work, trim and handle in all ways Easy in groups or by himself, does not get attached to other horses. Good with farm machinery, motorbikes and kids. Excellent for the farrier and dentist. Up to date with worming, feet and teeth. The farrier will often trim him in his paddock. He will stand there with ease without a halter or led rope on. Barefoot with great feet. More woah than go but has the movement if asked. Will need a firm rider if wanting to take him on a full time dressage horse.Comes to you in the paddock wanting pats and a treat.Quirks/The truth Will need a lunge if given long periods without riding.Likes to play in water troughs/bath tubs. He has been produced as a showjumper, and has competed up to 100cm, and schooled 110 with plenty of scope for more. He has a huge jump, and a big stride. He absolutely loves his jumping and I can see him jumping big tracks if his rider desired. He has an excellent technique and is careful and brave.Whilst my focus has been on jumping with him, he also has a lovely education on the flat. He has 3 excellent paces, a lovely mouth, and is incredibly trainable. He is always a pleasure to ride. Leg yield, shoulder in, walk/canter/walk, counter canter, and he offers clean changes when asked when jumping.He has also cross country schooled and loves it, and has done plenty of trail riding.He is an absolute gentleman on the ground, and is good to float/truck, clip, shoe, catch, yard at shows etc.I have owned him since he was a couple of days old, and have done everything with his. As such, it is an incredibly difficult sale which is forced by a chance in my personal circumstances. I would love to watch him thrive as someones special horse. He is such a perfect pony, and deserves someone who will love him and have his welfare as top priority.Whilst he is generally quite sensible, he is a very talented pony who has been produced by an adult. As such he wouldnt be suitable for any very young/nervous/beginner/unbalanced riders. Jack is a 10 year old thoroughbred that has competed up to 1m10showjumping and has schooled in 95cm eventing. He will take a confident amateur around 90cm and 1m showjumping tracks, and will go higher with the right rider.In 2025, Jack underwent a few months of schooling with us in preparation for Equimillions. He came 2nd in the first round and finished 6th in the open 90cm showjumping. Scoring low 60% in his first ever dressage tests and is competitive in any discipline.Jack has established changes and jumps anything he is asked to and could make a star level eventer with a confident rider and continued training Super easy horse to have at home and take out doing all the expected things with ease

However eventing is where he is most suited as he just takes any jump on with so much confidence. Currently in full work and will continue competing until he is sold.Smartie has done exceptionally well in eventing this year having 7 starts in EvA95 going clear on xc in every one of those starts! He was also selected into inter-school nationals and he performed so well. Smartie is calm to take out, will stay tied to the float all day, performs calmly in all of his dressage tests rarely scoring below at least 65%.Please note!!Selling due to no fault of his own, rider just wants something to take her higher up the levels and unfortunately due to Smartie having a bone chip and surgery in his racing days, he just wont cope at higher than 1* eventing or higher than 110cm showjumping. He has never pulled up lame since his surgery and has gone around many cross country courses, we just wouldnt like to break him by pushing him higher as hes very comfortable around the 95-105 heights. He seriously has so much to give to another young rider or a confident rider new to eventing, so I would much rather see him go to a new home and teach someone else everything he has taught me. Gainsborough Jack is a genuine eventing and show jumping school master. He has sucesfully evented 2* level and showjumping 1.20m. He is a super honest, sensible and straight forward horse to ride. He does a lovely dressage test, with established lateral movements, counter canter etc. He loves to jump and has no spook, with excellent technique and never worries about the distance, he will jump for anywhere. He is a pleasure to take to competitions, and has no vices.He will make an excellent eventing school master for someone wanting to gain confidence and step into the star classes or equally wonderful Childrens/Junior/Amateur show jumper.
