Beautiful OTTB Mare for Sale13yo | 15.1hhIdeal for showjumping, pony club, trails, liberty, and a rider who wants to do a bit of everything and have fun! Would love a long-term, forever home with other horses and multiple riders in the family. Please read full ad before enquiring!Sound with no previous injuries (does have superficial scarring). Up to date with regular bodywork, farrier and dentist. This is an absolutely heartbreaking sale of a much-loved horse. Poppy is one of the sweetest mares youll come across. She took me from off my first pony and no competition experience to confidently competing up to 75cm and loads of experience.Ive owned her for the past two years. When I got her, she had never jumped and I was very inexperienced, so it was a learning journey for both of us. She has come an incredibly long way and is now training up to 90cm, with 110cm single jump. Successfully competed to 70cm and I believe she has the potential to go higher with the right rider. She absolutely loves jumping and is a little pocket rocket. Very smart and trainable. More woah than go!Poppy is a sensitive but very kind mare. She is not dangerous in any way and has no buck, bolt or rear. She can be a little anxious around loudspeakers and may get rushy, so she suits a calm, confident rider who can help her settle down. She is a typical tb with her weight and although in great condition will need quality hard feed and hay every day, extra in winter.Floating: self-loads at home. Can be a little reluctant away from home but improves with practice; prefers angle loads. She has done:Pony Club rally daysGymkhanasShowjumping competitionsAg showsClinicsTrail ridingLiberty workLessonsVery easy to paddock and respects all fencing (even non-electric). Extremely social and happiest living with other horses.Flatwork is basic and can be a bit rushy at times, but manageable and improves with consistency. She is very responsive, and has been ridden happily in a neck rope at walk and trot, and don...

Dun quarter horse x mare- 12yo Broodmare

ID: 5553

$1,000.00Negotiable

  • Discipline:Breeding
  • Gender:Horse
  • Height:15h 1"
  • Age:12

Epiphany is a 15H (unmeasured), 12 year old quarter horse x mare who we have had since birth. She loves people, cuddles, ear scratches and is basically an attention sponge. She has been in and out of work since being started at 3 years of age and is soft and responsive to aids when in consistent work. She is very happy to go for a trail ride and sniff the flowers and is most often ridden out alone.Unfortunately, due to some on and off lameness issues, I am selling her as a companion or broodmare. She has excellent conformation, good strong feet and is just a lovely horse to have around. She copes with light riding and actually seems less inclined to be lame when in regular work but I don't want to waste people's time coming to trial her just for her to be lame.Epiphany has been to jump club (just for exposure, as this is not her forte), a horsemanship clinic, riding lessons and has been to several trainers over the years, when being brought back into work. They all gave me positive feedback. She is barefoot and is ridden in hoof boots when on hard ground, is an easy keeper and is well mannered on the ground, for the farrier and in the float. Finding her a loving home is my main priority, so price is negotiable.

Beauty (aka Beautylicious) Paint x TB Mare | PHAA Registered (20673)Beauty is a confident, surefooted trail horse with a kind nature and a personality thats hard not to love. She has a real in-your-pocket Labrador temperament and will happily stand all day for attention.Broken in at 4 years old (happy to answer any questions about her start), she was then spelled until 6. Since then, shes been ridden intermittently with fortnightly to monthly trail rides. From January 2026, she has been brought into consistent work (45 days/week), focusing on collection, balance, and establishing a solid dressage foundation. She has also had a small introduction to jumping and is showing great promise naturally drawn to the jump with a steady, consistent rhythm.Beauty is still green in arena work and jumping, so she would best suit a experience rider or intermediate under instruction who can continue developing her potential. That said, she is progressing quickly and shows a great willingness to learn.Quiet on the ground and under saddle (with the occasional typical horse moment if fresh or spooked)Barefoot and extremely easy keeperUp to date with vaccinations, dental, worming, and farrierComfortable in a herd or paired paddock situation (mares and geldings)Exposed to goats, cattle, dogs, chickens, and childrenIs sensitive to seat so can be more forward with a hot seatWell accustomed to farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigatorsShe can have time off and be brought back into work with minimal fuss, though she thrives on consistent attention and connection. We have owned Beauty since she was 3, so this is a very sad sale. She is incredibly special to us, and we are looking for a home that will truly value her and give her the time she deserves.Only for sale due to lack of time she has so much potential and is ready to shine with the right person.Serious enquiries only.
