Ethereal Strawberry Shortcake aka Winnie Winnie is a 9yo registered welsh B roan mare. This little mare is the ultimate package from her unique coat, to her movement, conformation and temperament. Winnie has a soft snaffle mouth, is responsive to aid including vocal and is equiped with impeccable breaks. She is incredibly brave and willing. Winnie will jump everything and anything her little legs can get her over. This incudes small XC jumps we have on property, scary fill and even a barrel. Winnie is a true pocket rocket and can handle a miss like a pro. Winnie is currently schooling 60 - 70cm at home and has recently competed at 60 - 70cm with clear and quick rounds. She has also been previously competed 50 - 60cms with a small younger rider. This little mare is oozing with incredible scope for her size clearing 90cms of a singular jump with ease. She holds a frame and would make an impeccable show pony, with her looks and her movement to back it up. Winnie is a very straightforward ride and will take her jockey around a course quickly and efficiently. Winnie has been ridden by a variety of riders, including being a lead reign pony with a previous owner. Winnie has been handled by young children and has the perfect temperament to become a beginners pony with additional training and more miles under her belt with the guidance and supervision of an experienced adult/trainer. This being said Winnie is a very forward ride and quick on her feet. She will NOT suit a beginner in her current state. She has been in work consistently, attending weekly lessons, and a member of the local pony club and equestrian group. She has competed in dressage, showjumping and gymkhanas. She is a careful jumper and rarely knocks a pole, easily completing 60cm courses and has jumped to 90cm at training. Kozzie travels well and is easy to take out for the day. She's sweet, genuine, kind and very happy to be loved on. Floss started her working life teaching my young cousins to ride. She has since had a foal, as well as been under saddle with myself doing the rounds including pony club, showing, dressage and kids birthday parties (as well as being a paddock bum). Floss has a nice little jump on her and has done a number of small courses. She's well educated, soft mouth and responsive to leg aids. She's sensible and brave and takes everything in her stride. Has never needed to be worked down before a ride or competition. Floss has recently been pulled out of the paddock to start a toddler's pony journey and is rocking it. Nothing has fazed her - being led on a trail with the toddler lying across the saddle so she can look at the trees, standing around for extended periods whilst the toddler practices some 'gymnastics' and slides all over her, the random singing and dancing mid rides. Can be led and handled by a child.She's always been the first pony to pull out of the paddock for pony rides. She'll stand around whilst kids are brushing and loving at her and doesn't bat an eye at their antics. No issues with dogs, used to going for a trail ride and leading an old dog off her.Floss is easy to catch, great to trim her feet (barefoot), good to wash, float (alone or in company) etc. She's easy to take out to an event by herself or with others, and has been used as the babysitter too many times to count. She's an easy keeper and hasn't been prone to founder.Floss would ideally love a life as a lead rein pony, standing around for extended periods or slowly wandering around with her people is right down her alley. She deserves to be someone's number one, and spoilt rotten accordingly. She's not perfect (she's a pony!)...
