Regretful sale of my beautiful pony, Bella, who I’ve owned for 4 wonderful years since I was 12. She has been my absolute pride and joy, and this is a very hard decision, but due to changing circumstances, I feel she deserves someone who can give her the time and consistency she loves. Bella is a stunning, affectionate mare who thrives on attention and being pampered. She has a beautiful personality, loves cuddles, grooming sessions, and will happily stand for hours being brushed or fussed over. She’s also extremely food-motivated and will do absolutely anything for a treat! Bella has been a versatile and fun pony to own. She has show jumped up to 70 cm confidently in lessons and competed at 60 cm. She has also been exposed to cross country and attended pony club, where she experienced a range of activities including mounted games and gymkhanas — which she absolutely loves. She has a very willing attitude and enjoys being challenged with new things. Bella is honest and willing but can be a little cautious at first, so she benefits from a confident, encouraging rider who can give her firm, reassuring aids. Once she knows what’s being asked, she always tries her heart out and gives her best effort every time. Bella can be a little anxious in new environments or when faced with unfamiliar situations, but with calm reassurance and a few treats, she settles quickly and gains confidence. She’s the type of pony who forms a strong bond with her rider and thrives when she feels secure and supported. Bella has a lovely smooth canter and an extremely comfortable seat, making her a pleasure to ride both in the arena and out on trails. She has done plenty of bareback riding and always looks after her rider. She would make a dream pony for a beginner or novice rider looking for a kind, safe, and fun partner to grow with. She has a lot of trauma, needs a full re-education and will take time for her to trust you. When she arrived, she was absolutely terrified of everyone. I’ve owned her for over a year, and during that time, I’ve worked on building a bond with her, as my main concern was her weight at the time when she arrived. She has a big personality, is smart, and is very willing to learn. Currently, she’s sitting in the paddock, bored and in need of a job. I would love to keep her, but I’ve recently moved so I’m no longer living on the property and she needs more attention than I can give. Senorita AKA Allie 15.2hh Palomino Paint x ASH Mare DOB 27/10/2017 Allie loves trail rides, with or without other horses and is a perfect trail riding buddy who has happily trailed for hours. She would also be a good farm horse to use rounding up cattle etc. Allie is forward moving and has tight turns so she might be great for a jumping or eventing home. She has great brakes and will stop on a dime when you sit heavy and she doesn’t need convincing to change gaits when you ask. She has shown a promising start into show jumping, she doesn’t rush at jumps and has a steady canter. She is not bossy in the paddock and will happily meet you at the gate when called. Currently shod on the front and we recommend keeping them on as she can get foot tender. She is very easy to float in both straight & angle loads, stands quietly for the farrier and easy to wash. Allie had spine x-rays when we purchased her and she has perfect gaps between the vertebrae with absolutely no issues at all. Teeth done 27/05/2025 Hendra vax 12/03/2025 (due 12/03/2026) Allie is forward moving in the walk, trot and canter but nothing uncontrollable. She can become overwhelmed in the arena and will trot fast and be ready to “go”. Because of this, she is NOT suitable for a beginner, novice or intermediate rider. She is best suited to an experienced, knowledgeable home with a calm and soft rider as she is a sensitive mare. She responds well to leg aids and soft hands but reacts with a bossy heavy-handed rider. Sold as out of work and selling as she is not the right fit for my 15yo daughter’s riding abilities.
