Pair of Australian Teamster Jenny Donkeys

2 handsome grey Australian jennies approx 10-12 years old. Daisy is 11:3-12hh and Dolly 11:1-11:2hh – unofficially measured. These girls are friendly and enjoy attention once they have settled with you, but can be skittish with strangers. They also try to be bossy when relaxed, so best suited to people with previous equine experience. They are closely bonded companions so will not consider separating them. Daisy is the larger, brave one and leads well. Dolly is the follower, and has a cute floppy mane and woolly winter coat. Their basic handling skills are being polished up but they are very quick learners. Good about being brushed, fly veils on, and feet being cleaned out. Easy to worm. Reasonable about hoof trimming. Up to date health care for teeth and tetanus vaccination (1st shot) will be completed by early February. Feet and worming just done. Daisy had a foal at a very young age. Dolly has not foaled. Consequently vet advises they are not a good prospect at this age for breeding purposes. Selling on behalf of widow of owner recently deceased. The jennies have reportedly been used in the past to carry fruit picked from a home orchard and Daisy has been used to help move things in the garden. Neither jenny is experienced with the world outside their home. Currently the jennies are living with me temporarily. They are a little overweight so care will be required long term to avoid obesity.
