Chestnut Brumby Mare

"Pink" is an 8 year old brumby mare. She was captured in 2012 as an 8 month old in the Tantangara region of Kosziusko National Park. Pink can be ridden but is not mouthed and has a very low level of eduaction. She is very stubborn and this can be shown in many ways throughout working with her. I bought her as a 6 year old, after she was broken in at 4, but no longer have the time she needs. Pink is not very good with a float, needs sedation for the dentist and is fine to have her feet done. She loves cuddles and spending time with people on the ground which is why I have decided against selling her as a ridden horse. When she goes good she goes really good, she has no nasty in her but will rear when she gets confused. She is a very sweet mare with potential under an experienced rider or as a companion keeping others happy. Pink is also known for holding her weight a little too well and does not require much feeding. Has no history with laminitis or any other medical related things.
