Sassy but fun!

Maggie is an unraced, untrialled, 26 year old, going on 6 thoroughbred mare. No one ever believes us when we say her age! She is healthy and sound to ride! Try telling her age to her, she will laugh in your face. Maggie is a forward, excitable girl, she is safe but she is a whole lot of fun! Throughout her time with us she has been ridden alone, with others, been on the roads, been floated to a local reserve, done small jumps, and is about to have an outing to pony club. Although quiet, she is not for a beginner, she is a big strong girl that likes to move and enjoy herself, a nervous but experienced rider may feel at home on her as she has no dirt but requires a rider with knowledge. Maggie is barefoot, she does not require shoes, she shows some signs of arthritis but it never bothers her or slows her down, healthy in all known aspects, eats hay well and receives a basic hard feed. Maggie is a big moving girl, and features a very old school 3 beat canter, this is her true movement and to be noted. Maggie now loads 9/10 times within a few minutes onto a float, this is something major we have focused on. She is almost ready to find a new home! She is good with fences, is not marey but cycles regularly and will give a wink or two if you know what I mean, so loves most other horses. Cannot stress enough that she is a big strong girl, she can be a little pushy at times, but she is one dam fun horse to ride! A reminder although her age, she did not race, so has not had hard work or general racing wear and tear on her body.
