Beautiful bay for trail riding

Ben is an ex- HRV Hero retrained horse that I have owned since 2019. We have done a lot of trail riding together. He has a beautiful big trot and can canter. He is super easy to catch, very easy to worm, excellent to float and is great for the farrier and dentist. He is currently barefoot and ridden in Scootboots, which have worked really well for him. He is good with traffic but still finds motorbikes (both on the road and in the bush) a bit scary. Ben does not enjoy arena work; he is definitely happiest out on the trails. This is an incredibly difficult sale. I have put a lot of work in to this boy but I don’t believe I am the right rider for him. Ben can be an anxious horse; he needs a no-nonsense, confident rider who can earn his trust and ride through his anxieties. Ben is most definitely not for beginners but with the right person he will be a great horse. A good home is of the utmost importance to me.
