Woodstock Sergeant - Stunning Australian Sock Horse Gelding 11yo Buckskin - Joey

Woodstock Sergeant, aka Joey, is a stunning 11yo Australian Stock Horse buckskin gelding by the renowned Seligman Spin out of Mullingeras Jena. Standing 14.2hh, Joey has done it all! Joey has only been with us for 5 months as we bought him out of work, but as he has now been ridden 5 times a week he is fit and TOO GOOD for our beginner daughter. He's bored with her! She could continue with him but sadly neither of them would benefit or improve. He is best suited to a knowledgeable home with an intermediate or confident teen rider. An advanced rider would excel with this fella! He is quick, agile, intelligent, eager to please and ready to compete in your chosen discipline. He has previously campdrafted, jumped, been in the dressage arena and competed in interschools. He is very easy to catch, shoe (picks his feet up for you), worm, float. He has the most beautiful and respectful ground manners you could ask for. Great for the farrier, he was done on the 13/9/21, and his teeth are due in November. Worming is up to date. He will have his regular chiropractic visit before sale! No buck, bite, bolt, rear etc but not suited to a beginner. Although he is happy to plod along on a loose rein on the trail I would prefer to see him in a competitive household. He's GOOD! I have him as a 2 on the temperament scale but he is definitely a calm 1 on the ground. I really just don't want him to go to a beginner rider as HE deserves better. It's not about the money to us. We would very much like to stay in contact with his new owner and watch his progress as he means alot to us. We'd love to come and watch him compete.  Best of homes only as even after 5 months he is much loved and this is a difficult but necessary sale for both my daughters and Joeys benefits! He can be ridden in both an outdoor and an indoor arena on inspection and can be ridden by a seasoned pro to show you exactly what he can do in the right hands.
