ALL ROUNDER WELSH COB FOR CAPABLE RIDER- BRILLIANT SHOWJUMPER

Crosswynds Showman (aka Windy) is a registered section C 13.2hh 12 year old Gelding. Windy has previous experience at shows, eventing, trail riding and PC rallies. He was also previously broken to harness. With his high knee action, large strides and big jump he attracts attention everywhere he goes. He is a friendly horse but requires a capable rider and handler as he can test boundaries at times and will take advantage if he can. He has been predominantly handled by an overly confidence grade 4 young teen. He is continuing his flat work education well and is becoming more consistent into the contact as well as commencing laterals. He would easily continue to climb the dressage levels or in show and with his movement he will look pretty while doing it. At his first ever level 5 test he scored 78.4% He has a big clean jump in the arena, and is working on his stride adjustability however he will always help you out of a tight spot! He’s never knocked a jump and is happy to work through trickier corners. Out competing 80cm and ready to move up to 90cm, he has schooled over 1m showjumps with scope for higher. He is the most content in the arena either at home or at competition and would be manageable by a confident lower level rider at this stage if they had support. At his first CT he placed 1st in grade 4. On the cross country course for the most part his courage and scope shows through and he is cruising over grade 3 regularly with some grade 2’s. He can at times lack a little confidence on some of the scarier looking XC jumps and this has improved dramatically with regular exposure but he does need a rider whose going to work with him on this as he does on occasion decide jumping around on the spot is better than over some of the jumps).
