9 Year Old Morgan X gelding

Willow Age: 9 Year old (06/01/2009) Breed: Morgan X Gender: Gelding Height 15.3hh Weight Approx. 650kg I got my mare in foal back in 2008 when I was at university and had lots of time to spend working with her. Willow was born in the first week of 2009. Little did I know how time poor I would be over the next 9 years. Since his birth I started my first teaching job, got engaged, got married, had two children. All of these fantastic life events have taken priority over Willow. His training has gone in ebbs and flows during this time. He loves people, scratches on his withers and learning. He is easy to catch in the paddock or yard. He has only ever had his hooves trimmed as I have not ridden him. He has worn both winter rugs and summer sheets, standard and combo, with no issues. Willow has done many ground work sessions walking over different objects (tarps, wooden bridges etc). This has helped him become confident walking up and into the float by himself. He has been driven around the paddock, around the block and to my sister in laws house and back which is 35 minutes away. He is a pretty relaxed traveller. We have completed Online Level 1 of the Parelli program and have been working on Online Level 2 tasks. We have been playing with some Liberty tasks in a round yard as well. Willow is confident being saddled and then completing ground work with it on. Recently my niece and I have completed some mounted sessions with him. He has walked a number of laps of the round yard with a person on his back whilst another adult is leading him. He needs a lot more sessions to be confident with the basics of being ridden. I am looking for someone who has the time, skill and the confidence to continue his training. Willow loves to work/learn and unfortunately I am in no position to give him the time he needs or the confidence/skill to complete his training under saddle.
