Skye, 15.3h, 9 yr old mare

Skye, 9 year 15.3 thoroughbred mare, never raced. Easy keeper ( doesnt need hard feeding if on reasonable grass) stocky mare. I bought her has a stockhorse cross and never questioned she wasnt, someone traced her brands recently and found shes thoroughbred. Very hard sale and in no hurry to sell, will only got to the right home . Lovely mare, does not get marey at , I have had her for 2 years and wouldnt even know when she is in season due to behaviour. Unfortunatly as I've got older and heavier have become a lot less brave and not as well balanced as I used to be, she needs someone a little more confident and more time to spend with her, she loves attention. I have riden her up the bush which she loves, real bush pony, on the surf beach, down busy roads. She is quiet but can get unbalanced in canter, hence needing confident rider. She was with cadence horse training (kat) for a few weeks when i couldnt ride, and she had her cantering beutifully. Have ridden her in big groups and is great, can get a bit excited in canter but i think thats more to do with me being a nervous nelly and holding onto her to much. She doesnt want to be up the front, just up with the group. Can hop and and go after months of not being ridden , But to bring out the best in her she would be better suited to someone who has time to ride her a few times a week. Happiest when shes on the trail. Great to catch , shoe and self loads onto float. Home is most important. Comes with heavy weatherbeater and skye park lined canvas rug. Located Labertouche.
