Sunny is a just turned 16yo Tb gelding. He is 16hh and has competed to grade 2 and 3 hrcav and has jumped a 1.10 with previous owner. He was previously owned by a lovely person for 6 years. I have had him for 3 months and he is a lovely horse with a beautiful temperament but we have not gelled. He is forward moving and well educated and responds very well to leg and seat, shoulder ins, yielding, canters off right lead, halt canters and walk canters. The education is a credit to his previous owner. He can be ridden out on his own safely and with others although gets a little joggy when at the back in a large group but nothing nasty. He has been ridden out and about to lakes, beaches, scrub and takes it all in his stride. He can be left for a couple of months with no work and can be pulled out and jumped on, ridden down roads with traffic and near other horses and dogs. He can be forward and reactive to some things and enjoys jumping a lot. I am going to have major surgery and therefore I will be off for two months for recovery and in my opinion I would rather see him go to a beautiful forever home where he will be an awesome second horse for someone upgrading from the pony in pony club or just as a trail riding horse which he absolutely loves. He does best when not collected and just chilled out on the buckle. He does have a slight head tossing quirk which I found out about after I bought him and he seems not like rounding up and this is when the resistance happens. He has had his teeth done recently, chiro and massage and is an absolute pleasure to catch for the farrier. He self loads and you have to wake him up to come out of the float. He was taken out to a working equitation clinic last weekend and went over bridges, different surfaces and took it in his stride. He does wind suck however he has held his weight extremely well to the point a body worker didn’t even know until I told her as he wears a miracle collar. He will make someone a lovely trail rider or pleasure horse/ second horse. $3000. Home is very important. Located in central Gippsland
