Bay Stockhorse x Gelding - Ride or Pack

Banjo is an 11yo, 15.1hh Stockhorse x gelding that has done thousands of kilometres of trails across Australia. No kick, bite, bolt or buck; easy to shoe, float, wash and is a great doer. For sale due to owner going overseas long term. He has done over 4000km of the Bicentennial National Trail as both a riding and pack horse and has also been out on smaller pack rides. Great on bridges, through water, with stock, on the road and over obstacles. Can be ridden bareback in a halter, can pony other horses or be ponied. When out on trail, was hobbled inside electric fence with no issues – very respectful of hotwire/electric fences. Banjo would be best suited to an intermediate – advanced rider that can spend one on one time with him. While he has been ridden by multiple people, he is more of a one-person horse and therefore would be best suited to a single rider and consistent work. Very sensitive horse to ride and once he bonds with you he’ll give you everything. Does require a quiet rider and would best suit a natural horsemanship home.
