WANTED: NOVICE/BEGINNERS HORSE

Hi, I'm a beginner/novice looking to buy or lease a horse. I'm looking for a quiet horse(and friend) to ride around the farm and trails, or just down to the local milk bar. Must be good around dogs, roads and other livestock. I'm 18 years old and have owned and looked after horses in the past. However, I have not ridden very much, so I will need a beginners horse who is more whoa than go. My mother is a very experienced rider and she will be instructing me. $2000 is my budget, but willing to go higher for the right horse. Minimum height 14.2hh.
