Olympians Jump Into Dressage

Melbourne, VIC, 16th February 2009 – Olympians Heath Ryan and Mary Hanna will be jumping back into the action by taking part in this year’s Performance Sales International Dressage and Jumping With The Stars (DJWTS) to be held 26 – 28th March.

Beijing Olympian Ryan, and three times Olympian Hanna, are set to impress spectators and competitors alike with their exceptional examples of horsemanship. Spanning three days the event will see over 200 horses participating at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre in the coveted Australian Young Horse Championships, Young Jumping Horse Championships, Wagners Prix St Georges Cup, Grand Prix, and Grand Prix Freestyle events. “DJWTS allows us to showcase the best Australian Young horses in dressage and show jumping,” Event Director, Caroline Coleby, said. “This is a great opportunity for competitors, horse lovers and spectators to enjoy an example of the great training and skills of Australia’s riders and breeders of young horses.” {sidebar id=3}German Olympian, Monica Theodorescu, will present the Saddleworld Dressage Master class and will be joined by fellow countrymen, Dr Ulf Moeller, who will showcase several of the PSI horses in a mini master class and Arno Neessen, who will judge the young jumping horses and present the Jumping Master Class.
