Sweet, sensible gelding.

Ryan is a lovely young man, with a sweet, sensible nature and love for the open road. Ryan has dabbled in foundation dressage and jumping, however he has a real penchant for trail riding and is most happy when he’s loaded onto the float and taken out for an adventure! Ryan's been ridden on local roads and is excellent with traffic, wildlife, dogs and machinery and also was a gentleman over concrete bridges (etc) on the Tallarook Rail Trail. Ryan lunges at liberty beautifully, is a pleasure to handle, easy to catch, worm, shoe etc. He would make a superb partner for someone looking for a friendly, fuss-free horse to enjoy pleasure and trail riding with, with potential to join a relaxed HRCAV club if so desired. Ryan is in intermittent work currently, but glossy, up-to-date with his health needs (Spinal Vet and BioScan reports available). Ryan stands around 15.1-2hh or thereabouts, is 6 years old, we have his history dating back to when he was a foal, right through harness racing training (Ryan is also broken to cart) and into our dedicated ‘life after racing’ organisation – where he’s lived for a couple of years, before being professionally started under saddle a few months ago. Ryan may be a relaxed, fuss-free horse, but he would do best buddying up with a confident, competent rider who can continue to show him new places, teach him new things and become his best mate.
